- Entry requirements
- Your home university must nominate you through Hanyang’s online system; email nomination is not accepted. Complete at least one semester before nomination and meet the guide’s GPA conversion requirement: examples include 2.4/4.0 or 2.7/4.5. Other scales, including reverse-graded systems, follow their own table. Meet either the English minimum or TOPIK Level 3 and submit the Language Proficiency Form. English routes include an accepted test, signed home-university certification or a specified exemption; examples are IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 785 or TOEFL iBT 72 on the 0–120 scale / 4 on the 1–6 scale. Provide your passport, transcript and required application files in English or with official translation. For CoA processing, financial proof and the enrolment certificate must be issued on or after 21 December 2026, with required originals arriving by 29 January 2027. Published financial-proof minima are USD 6,000 for one semester or USD 11,400 for an academic year; these are evidence-of-funds requirements, not tuition charges. Chinese-national bank-statement and verification cases have additional rules; confirm your case with the university.

- Spring 2027: home-university nomination closed on 15 October 2026. Already-nominated students must complete the online application and application-stage uploads by 31 October 2026, KST; an exact cutoff hour is not stated. The semester is scheduled for 2 March–22 June 2027. CoA-stage originals have a separate later submission period. Confirm a future nomination round if you have not been nominated; published Fall 2027 dates are tentative.
