Qualification
Undergraduate degree study
Teaching provider
THE CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF KOREA
Campus
The Catholic University of Korea, Bucheon; the Business Administration office is at 마리아관 M209. Confirm teaching rooms and any practical-study locations.
Teaching language
Confirm the language of lectures, assessment and individual modules. The Business Administration admissions row has Korean-proficiency conditions; English information pages and unofficial website translation do not establish whole-course English teaching.
Study mode
The department describes business theory, case analysis, statistics and software-based study. Confirm attendance and delivery arrangements. Video-conference admissions interviews do not establish an online degree.
Duration
The guide lists first-year admission and second- or third-year transfer entry. Confirm the standard programme length, exact disciplinary degree title and remaining study after credit assessment; a transfer eligibility threshold is not final credit recognition.
Entry requirements
For this Spring 2027 foreign-family category, the applicant and both parents must hold non-Korean citizenship. The guide excludes dual-citizenship (including Korean citizenship) and stateless cases, and applicants who acquired non-Korean citizenship after entering high school; confirm any nationality history. Freshmen need the stated overseas high-school standard education, with expected eligibility completed by February 2027. Confirm schooling-route exclusions and the current document checklist. The Business Administration row lists TOPIK Level 3 or higher for first-year admission and Level 4 or higher for second- and third-year transfer. Do not assume that the university’s general interview-equivalence or no-score language-study provisions waive this unit-specific condition. For second-year transfer, the guide lists college graduation or expected graduation, or one year/two semesters at a four-year university with at least 33 credits in Korea or at least one-quarter of graduation credits abroad. Third-year transfer lists college graduation or expected graduation, or two years/four regular semesters with at least 65 credits in Korea or at least half of graduation credits abroad; summer and winter sessions are excluded from the stated regular-semester requirement. Previous CUK enrolment is excluded from this transfer category. Confirm recognition, entry year and remaining study individually; fourth-year transfer conditions for another unit do not apply here. Selection for non-music applicants is based on an interview evaluating language and academic ability; the guide describes video interviews. After final admission, a bank-balance certificate of at least KRW 20,000,000 as of submission is required; this is financial evidence, not a tuition payment. The documents table gives 31 December 2026 at 17:00 for TOPIK/KLEC evidence; confirm its applicability to your Business Administration route. A separate Korean-course exemption note prints 10 February 2026 within this 2027 guide, so obtain the applicable exemption deadline. Korean-track graduation requires TOPIK Level 4 or higher. Admission, visa approval, scholarships and employment are separate decisions.
Course fees
The Spring 2027 guide lists a KRW 130,000 application fee for non-music units. It says withdrawal and refund are unavailable after the online application period closes, with a possible full or partial force-majeure refund excluding the online service fee, subject to the admissions committee and supporting documents. The Humanities and Social Sciences tuition reference is KRW 4,390,000 per semester, explicitly based on 2026 rates and subject to change for 2027. Obtain the current invoice; this is not a verified personal 2027 tuition price. Tuition payment is listed for 12–15 January 2027, with a 16:00 KST final-day cutoff. Scholarships are conditional, and no net tuition or annual total is assumed. Confirm housing, insurance, books, other charges and applicable tuition refund terms separately. The KRW 20,000,000 bank balance is financial proof rather than a fee.
Intake
Spring 2027: the first application/document period ended on 23 October 2026. The second is listed from 9 November 2026 at 14:00 to 7 December 2026 at 17:00, followed by interview on 19 December and results on 7 January 2027. Tuition payment is 12–15 January 2027, by 16:00 KST on the final day; this is not the application deadline. The semester starts on 2 March 2027. Confirm application timezone, your individual document deadlines, any schedule changes and available places. Global Business Administration remains a separate admissions label in the guide while a department notice describes shared Business Administration teaching after integration; confirm the route and cohort rather than treating the labels as interchangeable.
