- Sungshin Women`s University
- Campus

- Location
- Seoul
- Teaching language
- Regular Korean-language study using the Korean Language Plus textbook series. The brochure’s English text and multilingual counselling do not establish English-medium classes. Confirm instruction, support and placement arrangements for your level.
- Duration
- 200 classroom hours per semester in the 2025–2026 brochure. Classes are Monday to Friday, either 09:00–13:00 or 13:00–17:00; these are alternative sessions. Confirm the current timetable, placement and number of terms you need. D-4 applicants have a separate minimum enrolment requirement, so one semester is not automatically a complete visa study plan.
- Entry requirements
- The brochure explicitly accepts male and female foreign applicants and Koreans residing overseas who have completed high school or higher study, or an equivalent academic background. Prepare the online application, a one-page A4 self-introduction and study plan, passport copy, highest qualification or expected-graduation evidence, official transcripts and the required bank statement. The published bank reference is more than USD 10,000; no KRW, CNY or VND equivalent is inferred. The brochure does not specify the account holder, certificate-issue window or freezing period, so confirm the current requirements before arranging funds. Applicants in its listed country groups, including China and Vietnam, have additional parent-employment or business-registration, parent-income, family-relationship and birth-certificate, and citizenship-ID requirements. These additional requirements depend on the applicant’s country group. The three-month bank-transaction reference appears as supporting parent-income evidence; it is not a general financial holding period. Confirm the applicable checklist and any payslip requirement. Final qualification evidence follows the prescribed apostille or consular-confirmation route. Documents outside Korean or English need a notarised Korean or English translation. Send the required copies by email and the originals by post after applying online. Submitted documents are not returned, and the school may waive, replace or add documents during screening. Selection includes document review and an online interview that may be waived case by case; this does not establish online teaching. D-4 applicants must register for at least two semesters under the brochure’s rule. It separately describes country-group registration and six-month dormitory conditions that vary by country; confirm the current school and visa requirements for your nationality. Admission, accommodation and visa outcomes are not guaranteed.
- Course fees
- The 2025–2026 brochure lists tuition of KRW 1,600,000 per semester, including textbooks and private insurance, plus an application fee of KRW 80,000 paid with tuition. Confirm the current invoice, whether the application charge recurs, insurance coverage and refund terms; the brochure does not establish those details. Dormitory room references are KRW 400,000 per month for two-person occupancy or KRW 350,000 per month for four-person occupancy. A KRW 50,000 maintenance fee is also listed; confirm its billing period and coverage. Housing charges and availability can change. Visa-related minimum registration and any country-specific housing conditions may affect what you need to book. No annual total, currency conversion, scholarship or reduced net fee is promised.
- Intake
- The brochure publishes 2025–2026 schedules. Its final listed 2026 winter application period is 14–25 September, with tuition payment from 16–20 October and classes from 7 December 2026 to 18 February 2027. That application window is closed, even though classes start later. The schedule can change; ask us to verify the next official application and document-arrival deadline, interview, payment dates and available places. No date is carried into a new admission year.
