Teaching language
Entry requires TOPIK level 3 or completion of a level 3 Korean course at a university language education institute. This admission condition and the English guide do not establish the language of every module. Confirm the division’s current teaching and assessment languages.
Duration
Undergraduate entry is listed in the 2026 international admission guide. Confirm this division’s exact degree title, normal duration, credits, graduation requirements and delivery schedule with the university before you commit to a study plan.
Entry requirements
The guide distinguishes two eligibility routes. Type A requires a foreign applicant and two foreign parents; applicants acquiring foreign nationality through immigration, adoption or similar circumstances must meet its pre-high-school nationality timing rule. Korean dual nationality and the stated Korean-nationality cases are excluded. Official evidence is needed for exceptional family circumstances. Type B is for a foreign applicant who completed, or expects to complete, equivalent primary and secondary education abroad; Type A’s two-foreign-parent rule is not imposed on Type B. The education requirement is normally 12 years or a recognised equivalent. Type A permits schooling in Korea or abroad; Type B requires schooling abroad. Different school systems and multi-country histories need individual equivalency review. The guide excludes Korean high-school equivalency examinations, homeschooling and online education. Both routes require TOPIK level 3 or completion of a level 3 Korean course at a university language education institute; English scholarship scores are not an admission-language waiver. Prepare the route-specific application, study plan, school records, identity and language evidence, with the required authentication and translations. China-based qualifications have school-type-specific verification routes; this is determined by the qualification, rather than citizenship alone. Financial evidence includes a bank reference of at least KRW 16,000,000 held for more than one month, with applicant-held, parent-supported or scholarship alternatives subject to their supporting documents. Confirm the applicable financial-proof option and the supporting documents needed when using a parent’s account. The normal issue window is 30 days; an explicit-expiry certificate has a separate validity exception of up to six months, which is not a six-month holding requirement. Admission financial documents cannot be reused for future visa applications. Only one admission unit may be selected. The guide describes a 100% interview assessment and a qualifying score of at least 60 out of 100; admission is not guaranteed. Recording or video interviews for applicants abroad do not establish online teaching. The Maritime Sciences medical-certificate requirement is outside these Humanities entries. Dormitory applicants have a separate health and tuberculosis-document condition. Document-return statements differ across the guide, including an exception for irreplaceable originals; confirm before sending originals. Where the English and Korean versions differ, the Korean version prevails. Confirm the current checklist and visa requirements before applying; neither admission nor a visa is guaranteed.
Course fees
The guide states that the application fee is “None”, while its application diagram includes a payment step. Confirm the current application charge before applying. Tuition figures are 2025 references, and the table does not clearly establish their billing period. Ask us to verify the current tuition amount, billing period, compulsory charges, refund terms and accommodation costs. Scholarships have separate conditions; no award or reduced net fee is guaranteed.
Intake
The 2026 guide’s online application window ran from 29 December 2025 at 09:00 to 31 December 2025 at 18:00 Korean Time. Original documents had to arrive by 5 January 2026 at 18:00 Korean Time. Both deadlines are past. The guide does not establish a current application window or available places. Ask us to verify the next official notice; no date is carried into another intake.
