- Location
- Daejeon
- Teaching language
- The programme is listed under English Programs, and the Korean master’s admissions page explicitly provides an English route for the Master of Divinity. English admission rules differ between pages: the English instructions say TOEFL results are mandatory, with minimum scores of iBT 71, CBT 197 or PBT 530, and also request an English-medium university certificate. The Korean admissions page lists alternative English qualifications or an internal school assessment. Obtain confirmation of the current rule and any exemption before arranging tests; an English-medium degree is not an automatic TOEFL waiver.
- Duration
- Three years, with all 90 graduation credits earned through coursework. Students must also enrol in intensive Biblical Greek and Hebrew classes during summer and winter vacations and pass the examinations. Confirm the current timetable, required attendance, how intensive classes fit the credit requirement, and any additional charges.
- Entry requirements
- The own programme page requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. The English admission instructions also state an undergraduate degree or recognised equivalent, a minimum age of 21, and that applicants must be baptised Christians and church members. The Korean master’s notice also lists baptism evidence for divinity and theology applicants; confirm the current English-route checklist. The Korean English-route admissions category distinguishes overseas Koreans with the required complete education abroad from foreign applicants whose parents are both foreign nationals; confirm the category that fits your history. The programme checklist asks for an application, three photos taken within the last year, sealed transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, degree evidence, a personal essay, a ten-page critique of an assigned book and a certified TOEFL result. Its reference list specifies two church recommendations and one academic recommendation from a person holding at least a master’s degree. For pastors, the church roles are district supervisor and senior pastor; other applicants are directed to their senior pastor and a church member. The generic English checklist instead lists academic, pastoral and friend referees. Confirm the current M.Div. forms and roles rather than combining both lists. That checklist also asks for high-school graduation evidence and a university certificate that all undergraduate courses were taught in English. Confirm how these documents and the English-test alternatives apply to you. Translation rules differ: the English instructions permit Korean or English documents, their Korean annotation requests English translations, and the Korean master’s notice requests notarised Korean translations. Obtain the International Department’s current instructions before paying for translation or authentication. Overseas university documents follow the stated academic-authentication process; Chinese-university qualifications have separate verification instructions and a two-month lead-time reference. Confirm currently accepted channels. The application is processed after all required originals arrive. Ask the school to confirm financial evidence, visa requirements and any remaining programme conditions; admission and a visa are not guaranteed.
- Course fees
- The master’s admissions page lists an application assessment fee of KRW 50,000. Ask us to confirm a current, programme-specific statement covering tuition, any entrance charge, vacation intensives, books, accommodation and refund terms. The separate English financial table does not identify an applicable academic year, so its figures are not presented here as current tuition or a guaranteed total. No scholarship or currency conversion is assumed.
