- Asan Campus, U1 University. Confirm the teaching buildings, practical facilities and accommodation address before making travel arrangements.
- Teaching language
- The Fall 2026 guide lists this unit in the Korean track. Confirm the teaching and assessment language of individual modules and practical work; an admission-track label does not establish the language of every part of the degree.
- Study mode
- Confirm the teaching format, timetable, practical sessions and attendance requirements directly with the university.
- Entry requirements
- The Fall 2026 freshman guide requires applicants and both parents to be non-Korean nationals, with completion or expected completion of regular primary and secondary education. It excludes Korean nationals, including dual citizens, and stateless applicants. Selection is by document screening. For the Korean track, the guide lists alternatives of TOPIK Level 3 or above; King Sejong Institute Intermediate 1 or above; KIIP Level 3 or above or at least 81 on its pre-test; or U1’s U-TOPIK Level 3 achieved or expected. Its note requires TOPIK Level 2 or U-TOPIK Level 2 entrants to complete at least 300 hours of Korean training in their first year. That note does not by itself establish that Level 2 meets the stated entry criteria; confirm any conditional route and extra cost. The guide lists financial proof of at least KRW 16,000,000, or KRW 8,000,000 for students from U1’s Korean Language Center. Successful applicants already in Korea have an own-name Korean-account requirement and submission one month before admission; overseas applicants may use their own or parental accounts, including overseas accounts, at application. Bank certificates must be issued within 30 days of submission. These are financial-proof amounts, not tuition charges. For Chinese family relationship evidence, the guide explicitly does not accept the household register. Its document sections differ on whether non-Korean and non-English documents need notarised Korean translation or may use Korean or English translation. Confirm authentication, translation, document timing and the requirements for your circumstances. Check teacher-qualification requirements with the relevant authority in the country where you plan to work.
- Course fees
- The Fall 2026 guide lists no application fee for all departments and gives a tuition reference of KRW 3,150,000 for this unit. The fee table does not state the billing period, so this amount should not be treated as an annual or semester quotation. Confirm current tuition, its billing period, other charges, practical materials, accommodation, insurance and refund terms before paying. Any scholarship or fee reduction requires a separate eligibility and award check.
- Intake
- The published reference is for Fall 2026 freshman admission. Its application and document windows were 13–30 April and 8–26 June 2026; both are already closed. Confirm the next international intake, programme availability, deadlines and available places before applying.
