- Entry requirements
- The following describes the university’s 2026 International Convergence Graduate School guide; confirm the current route and requirements. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree from a recognised Korean or overseas university. The dated guide allows expected completion by February 2026 for March entry, or August 2026 for September entry. Its foreign-applicant quota has two routes: a foreign applicant whose parents both hold foreign nationality, or a foreign applicant who completed all education equivalent to Korean primary, secondary and university education overseas. Do not apply the first route’s parental-nationality condition automatically to the second route. Transfer applicants also need a bachelor’s degree and at least one completed graduate semester; the guide limits recognised prior semesters to three. Confirm academic and credit recognition individually. The English-evidence section lists IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 71 or equivalent recognised public or private English assessments, alongside specified English-medium education categories. These include citizens of English-speaking or partly English-speaking countries who completed their bachelor’s programme in English there, and Kyungdong International Division graduates or expected graduates, excluding Korean Studies, who submit an English medium-of-instruction certificate. Confirm whether your evidence qualifies as an alternative, which countries qualify, and the accepted test version and validity; do not assume a general score exemption for every English-medium graduate. Selection allocates seventy points to document assessment and thirty to interview, out of one hundred. Interview and result dates are announced separately. Foreign first-year applicants submit the application, bachelor’s graduation or expected-graduation certificate, full undergraduate transcripts, passport copy, family-relationship evidence, financial evidence, English evidence, privacy consent and academic-verification consent. Additional documents may be requested; transfer applicants have a separate prior-university and graduate-completion checklist. The guide’s financial-evidence reference is at least KRW 16,000,000. It does not establish the account holder, certificate recency or deposit holding period. Confirm the current amount and evidence; this is financial proof, not a fee or a current visa rule. Documents outside Korean or English require a notarised Korean or English translation. Academic authentication instructions differ between the checklist and later country-specific Apostille or consular guidance; confirm the applicable documents and authentication route before submission. The printed country list is dated 5 June 2024 and is not a current membership list. The guide requires applications to be submitted in person to the Global Campus International Education Office in Goseong or the Medical Campus Admission Office in Wonju; confirm current arrangements. The receiving office does not change this programme’s listed teaching campus. Tuition, application charges, payment terms and the full refund policy need confirmation. The undergraduate guide’s application-fee waiver is separate and must not be applied automatically to these master’s programmes.
- Intake
- The March 2026 application rounds in this guide have closed. It lists 13 October–21 November 2025 for the first round and 1 December 2025–30 January 2026 for the second, with the same table covering application and document receipt. The weekday printed beside 30 January is inconsistent with the calendar. The provisional September row contains an end year before its start year, so its application deadline remains unconfirmed. Ask for the next published dates, document deadline and available places.
