- Teaching language
- Track-dependent bilingual delivery; confirm the exact language and interpretation arrangements. This is not an all-English or all-Chinese guarantee.
- Entry requirements
- Meet the guide’s international-applicant nationality and education category. A bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent must be completed before the first semester begins. Prospective-advisor contact/reference and the graduate statement of purpose are separate requirements. Korean-citizenship/dual-citizenship and prior-nationality timing rules apply; GED, homeschooling and cyber-school qualifications are excluded as specified. Follow the original-document, authentication/translation and passport/family-evidence checklist. Language admission requirements and graduation requirements are separate. For an English track, published examples include TOEFL iBT 71, IELTS 5.5 or CEFR B2, or the guide’s seven specified native-English-country categories. Home Edition reports are not accepted and all test sections must be covered. Confirm test edition and validity through the semester start. For a Chinese track, the guide requires both the foreign-national/native-Mandarin category and TOPIK Level 3 or the specified university joint Korean-programme completion evidence before admission. For the Korean track, use TOPIK Level 3 or CBNU KLP Level 4; the KLP route also requires continued enrolment through the preceding winter term even if Level 4 was already completed. Confirm the full screening and supervisor requirements with the school; language-track admission is not a visa or scholarship guarantee.
- Course fees
- The Spring 2027 SIS graduate guide lists an application fee of KRW 50,000 / USD 50.00. These are printed currency denominations of one application fee; confirm the portal’s payable currency and amount rather than adding them together or assuming a fixed exchange rate. This is not tuition. The guide states that 2027 tuition is not finalized, so its reference tuition table is not a confirmed personal invoice. Check application-change, cancellation and refund conditions before paying.
- Intake
- Spring 2027: Round 1 online applications are listed for 12–30 October 2026; Round 2 for 23 November–11 December 2026. The guide gives an 18:00 closing clock time without an explicit timezone, which needs confirmation. The inner schedule lists original-document arrival by 6 November for Round 1 and 11 December for Round 2; the cover’s general “by the deadline” wording is less specific, so confirm your exact document deadline before acting. Submission is by arrival, not postmark. Confirm available places and any changes. The mandatory prospective-advisor pre-contact row gives 12 October for Round 1, already elapsed, and 23 November for Round 2, by 18:00. Confirm eligibility before treating the later online cutoff as an accessible application opportunity.
