- Entry requirements
- For the ordinary foreign-family category, the guide requires the applicant and both parents to be foreign nationals, with the stated nationality acquisition before high-school entry where applicable. It excludes dual citizenship and stateless cases from this category; confirm any nationality history with the university. First-year applicants need recognised regular schooling and high-school graduation or an accepted equivalent; expected graduates must qualify by the end of February 2027. The guide excludes the stated homeschooling, lifelong education, qualification-examination and cyber-learning routes. At least one applicable language-proficiency requirement must be satisfied. For the Korean-evidence route, the Chinese 2027 guide explicitly places bachelor’s courses, including advanced-major courses, in the row listing TOPIK Level 4-or-above, KIIP Level 4-or-above or a placement pre-test score of at least 81, and at least two years of a CHU-designated Korean programme as evidence routes. Confirm the route accepted for your intended admission track; no Associate-level threshold is assumed. Both guides list IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2 and TEPS 601 or NEW TEPS 327 among the English criteria. The English guide lists TOEFL iBT 3.5, while the Chinese guide lists iBT 71; the Korean freshman guide also lists iBT 71. Confirm the accepted test edition, scale and threshold before applying; no conversion or equivalence is assumed here. The versions also differ in English-score waiver wording. The Korean and Chinese freshman guides describe an English-native-country nationality route or secondary/higher education in an English-native country with the stated evidence, while the English guide uses first- or official-English-language wording. Obtain confirmation of the applicable waiver, eligible countries and supporting proof for your entry route; no language-version priority is assumed here. Official scores have the stated two-year validity limit. Admission-language criteria and the actual teaching language are separate matters. Transfer has separate prior-university study or junior-college completion routes; the guide refers to one year/two semesters or two years/four semesters and required credits, but gives no numeric credit threshold here. Confirm entry year, credit recognition and remaining study individually. Selection is based on submitted academic, personal-statement and language evidence. The checklist lists a KRW 16,000,000 bank-balance reference, separate from tuition; confirm the applicable balance, recency and holding conditions, including progression or residency exceptions. Request the current translation and certification checklist because language wording differs between guide sections. The degree does not itself guarantee a professional credential, placement, job, visa or admission to further study.
- Course fees
- The Spring 2027 guide lists KRW 2,832,000 for the first semester and KRW 2,657,000 per semester from the second semester onward. A separate KRW 20,000 application fee is not tuition and is described as non-refundable after application completion. Charges may change; use the university’s current invoice. For housing, the guide describes two-person rooms, required dormitory residence and KRW 1,490,000 per six months, including a KRW 50,000 deposit and excluding meals. It also requires one year of dormitory fees in advance; confirm the invoice, billing basis, exceptions and refund terms without assuming an annual total. Confirm insurance, materials, practical-study costs and any scholarship or fee waiver separately. Special partner or employment-based track terms are not assumed in these ordinary figures. Financial-proof balances are not payments or tuition.
