- Campus
- Daejin University lists its address in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do. Confirm your department’s teaching and research locations before arranging travel.
- Teaching language
- Confirm the language of classes, assessment and supervision for your chosen intake. Korean admission criteria do not by themselves establish the teaching medium. A listed bilingual option delivers at least 50% of graduation credits in a foreign language or with Korean–foreign-language interpretation; confirm which language and majors are currently offered.
- Study mode
- Confirm attendance, supervision, the timetable and any laboratory or practical requirements with the graduate school.
- Entry requirements
- The published foreign graduate route accepts either a foreign applicant with two foreign parents, or a foreign applicant who completed the entire applicable education sequence abroad. The guide excludes dual nationality among the applicant or parents and foreign nationality acquired after birth; confirm how its nationality rules apply to your family. A recognised master’s degree or equivalent is required. Applicants from other prior disciplines may apply, subject to any prescribed prerequisites. For the Korean admission route, the guide lists TOPIK or TOPIK iBT Level 3 (Level 2 for arts and physical education), Sejong Intermediate 1 or higher excluding online Sejong, or Social Integration Programme pre-assessment 61 or Stage 3. Confirm the classification of your department. Conditional language exemptions cover named bilingual entrants, specified Daejin Korean-centre study or its Korean test, recognised full-time Korean study with the required duration and 80% attendance, qualifying Daejin exchange study, and specified currently employed foreign-university staff. Each exemption needs its own evidence. These entry alternatives do not remove separate graduation conditions. Prepare the application, recent photograph, study plan, academic records, nationality and family or entire-overseas-education evidence, passport and applicable identity documents, financial evidence and consent. The checklist permits a study plan in Korean or English, while its attached form asks for Korean; confirm the accepted language before preparing it. Other-language documents require a notarised Korean or English translation with the original. Academic verification depends on the country of education, including China-specific CHSI English reports or applicable apostille/consular authentication. The guide gives a one-year issue window for notarised documents, while the submission checklist specifies documents issued within three months and financial evidence within one month; check both conditions for each document. The financial reference is KRW 20,000,000 in the applicant’s or a parent guarantor’s bank account, with a signed support affidavit. Foreign-bank amounts are converted at the issue date. Selection combines document assessment and interview or practical results; departments may use oral or practical tests, and the graduate dean may approve an interview or practical-test exemption. An overseas applicant may be interviewed by phone under the published arrangements. Graduation normally requires the prescribed examinations and thesis; certain departments permit additional credits and a research report. Korean-route graduation criteria include TOPIK or TOPIK iBT Level 4 (Level 3 for arts and physical education), the specified Sejong Intermediate 2 alternative (Intermediate 1 for arts and physical education), or Social Integration pre-assessment 81 or Stage 4. Online-study exclusions apply. Confirm current tuition, eligibility, scholarship conditions and deadlines. Admission does not guarantee a visa, funding, professional registration or employment. Bilingual entrants must complete at least 300 hours at Daejin’s Korean Education Centre unless they meet a listed graduation language criterion before graduation assessment. This is separate from an entry-language exemption. For bilingual doctoral study, the table describes a prerequisite exemption for a different prior master’s major, recognition of specified Chinese journals for research output, and a principle of no leave until completion. Confirm your applicable rules.
