Entry requirements
The Chinese Spring 2027 freshman guide covers foreign applicants with foreign parents who have graduated, or expect to graduate, from high school in Korea or overseas. Recognized school education normally follows a 12-year basis with specified school-system exceptions. Equivalency tests, homeschooling and online-school qualifications are excluded under its academic-recognition rules; nationality and dual-nationality categories need individual confirmation. For Linton applicants from non-English-speaking countries, the checklist lists one of TOEIC 850, TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 5.5 or New TEPS 385, with an in-person or video interview alternative when a recognized report cannot be submitted. A separate assessment note specifically names International Business and allows a pass/fail interview. Confirm how the interview alternative and country category apply to your chosen major, including Global Media and Culture; no automatic English-test waiver is promised. Scholarship references to TOEFL iBT 71 are separate from the printed iBT 80 admissions row. The guide lists document assessment at 100%, while allowing additional academic-ability assessment when required; this is not a guarantee of admission without further assessment. Submit the application/personal introduction, education history, academic-verification consent, authenticated school qualifications/transcripts, passport and nationality/family evidence required for your case. Non-Korean/English originals require the stated notarized translation or narrowly defined university translator-confirmation route. Final admitted students, after tuition payment, are asked for an original bank certificate of at least USD 18,000 issued in the visa-application month, in the applicant’s or family member’s name; this is a later proof-of-funds requirement, not an application fee or visa approval. Confirm the full current checklist and Korean-source interpretation before applying.
Course fees
The Chinese Spring 2027 freshman guide lists an application/document-review fee of KRW 85,000, including a KRW 5,000 processing charge. The processing charge is already included; it is not an extra KRW 5,000. This is not tuition or the later USD 18,000 proof-of-funds requirement. Its tuition table is explicitly a first-semester 2026 reference, so it is not a confirmed 2027 tuition quotation. Confirm current tuition, payment and refund terms through the university’s Korean guidance before paying.
Intake
Spring 2027: the Chinese freshman guide lists a first online round of 12–23 October 2026, already closed. The second online round is 21–31 December 2026, opening at 09:00 and closing at 17:00. Documents are also due by 31 December at 17:00, by the stated admission-office submission procedure, including post. No timezone is explicitly established here. Classes are scheduled to begin on 2 March 2027. Tuition-payment and admission-certificate dates are later stages for admitted students, not extra application windows. Confirm current places, deadline timezone and document-arrival requirements with the university. The guide states that the Korean version prevails over translations.
