- Teaching language
- Korean, English and Chinese track options are listed in the Fall 2026 international guide. English requires at least 50% of graduation credits in English; Chinese requires at least 50% in Chinese or with Korean–Chinese interpretation. Confirm the current track and class arrangements; this is not an all-English or all-Chinese guarantee.
- Entry requirements
- The Fall 2026 freshman guide requires both the applicant and parents to be foreign nationals and the applicant to have completed or expect to complete recognized high-school education. Korean-citizenship dual nationals and stateless applicants are excluded under that guide. Korean-track examples include TOPIK PBT/IBT Level 3, JB-TOPIK Level 3 or the specified KIIP/King Sejong evidence. A conditional TOPIK/JB-TOPIK Level 2 route requires additional Level 3 language-programme evidence; the June and July versions differ on expected versus completed study for one recognized-institution route. Confirm the exact route and timing. The guide restricts accepted King Sejong certificates to the specified overseas on-site programme and excludes online certificates; expired test reports are not accepted and JB-TOPIK has a stated one-year validity. For the historical English track, examples include IELTS 5.5, New TEPS 202 and TOEFL iBT printed as 3.5 (59); confirm test scale and edition. A separate seven-country citizenship/schooling-evidence route has documentary conditions. The Chinese bilingual track states no separate language-score requirement while requiring ability to take the Korean–Chinese interpreted curriculum; confirm how the school assesses this for your intake. These are published requirements for a closed Fall 2026 intake, not confirmed 2027 rules. Ask us to verify the next international route, qualification recognition, documents, any assessment and current language requirements with Joongbu. Academic admission, visa approval, scholarships and professional licensing are separate decisions.
- Course fees
- Historical application fee only: the Fall 2026 international freshman guide states that there is no application fee. This statement applies to that closed intake and is not a confirmed 2027 charge or a tuition quotation. Confirm future application charges, tuition, deposits, living costs and refund terms through the current university guidance before paying.
- Intake
- The saved Fall 2026 guide contains a freshman application/document window of 22–26 June 2026 and additional-admission versions with 13–16 July 2026. Both are closed. The latter two freshman blocks share the July dates; they are not separate programmes or a third distinct application window. No closing hour or timezone is established here. Ask us to confirm the next suitable international intake, available places and deadlines. Later 2027 domestic admissions dates are not international-student deadlines.
