- Entry requirements
- A qualifying bachelor’s degree is required; confirm recognition of your qualification against the guide’s four-year-university wording. Meet the university’s international-applicant nationality rules for you and both parents, including citizenship timing; Korean dual nationality and stateless status are excluded. Both an accepted English test score and either TOPIK level 3 or a qualifying level-3 university Korean course are required. Confirm department recruitment, teaching language and document authentication before applying. Expected graduates must confirm the degree-completion and certificate-submission dates with the university. The department lists at least three graduate-exam subjects. Its thesis-review reference requires at least four registered semesters and passes in foreign-language and comprehensive examinations. For Master’s thesis applicants, it lists three oral examinations; confirm how these assessments are organised and any cohort-specific exemptions or alternatives. These are thesis-stage assessments and do not replace the international admissions process. The General Graduate School’s posted thesis guidance asks for the final approved file within one month after review, a scanned committee-approved page bearing all committee seals and any required copyright/embargo documentation. It removes printed-thesis submission from the late-graduation cohort of academic year 2024 onward; confirm the current library calendar and any additional department copies. Thesis/abstract language must follow the school’s corresponding-language rules and departmental approval; permission for a foreign-language thesis does not establish English teaching.
