- Entry requirements
- The registration guide requires completed high school education and excludes expected-graduation, provisional graduation, GED and homeschooling certificates. Course pages state age 18 or older, while the general registration guide says there is no age limit; confirm the age rule before applying. For the on-campus D-4-1 route, register and pay for at least two terms, submit the category-specific documents and arrange the visa application yourself. Online application alone is insufficient: supporting documents must arrive by mail or in person within the period. Mainland-China education verification and bank-certificate rules differ from other cases; ask IIE for your exact checklist. Do not send an irreplaceable diploma because submitted documents are not returned. Admission, Certificate of Admission and visa approval are separate steps.
- Course fees
- Published from Fall 2026: KRW 1,850,000 tuition per regular ten-week term and KRW 120,000 application fee, charged once at the first application. The older per-term application-fee rule applied through Summer 2026. Textbooks, including hardcopy and e-book, are separate; ask about accommodation and other costs. The application fee is non-refundable. Confirm the invoice, tuition cancellation terms and your required number of terms with IIE; a two-term D-4-1 requirement is not a separate course or a visa guarantee.
- Intake
- Winter 2026 classes run 14 December 2026–25 February 2027; the published application period is 7 September–30 October 2026, with placement/orientation on 24 November. Spring 2027 classes run 29 March–9 June; applications are listed for 7 December 2026–22 January 2027, with placement/orientation on 16 March. Supporting documents must arrive within the application period. Country-specific earlier processing and visa requirements need confirmation; exact cutoff time/timezone is unstated. Confirm summer placement separately because two official pages give different dates.
