- Entry requirements
- For 2027 regular international AFA admission, the applicant and parents must be non-Korean nationals; the guide excludes Korean dual citizenship and specifies when foreign citizenship must have been acquired. Hold or expect a recognised regular high-school diploma. The guide does not recognise homeschooling, online schooling, the Korean high-school equivalency test or adult/continuing education. Accepted Korean evidence includes TOPIK Level 2 or higher and specified KIIP, King Sejong Institute, SKA or Korean-university language qualifications. Certain alternative, exemption and TOPIK 2 entry routes require TOPIK Level 3 or higher within one year of enrolment. Graduates of a regular high school in Korea have a stated language-evidence exemption with that follow-up requirement. Confirm documents, credential recognition and your programme’s practical assessment. Applicants relying on complete overseas schooling must check the separate admission guide for that category.
- Course fees
- For 2027 regular international AFA admission, the first-round application fee is KRW 110,000, including the KRW 5,000 online registration charge. A further KRW 30,000 is payable only if you qualify for the second-round assessment. 2026 reference only: the guide lists annual tuition of KRW 8,190,000 for this major; it says 2027 tuition will be finalized and announced in February 2027. Obtain the current invoice before budgeting or paying. Accommodation is separate: its 2026 dormitory reference is KRW 1,728,000 per semester; priority for international students does not guarantee a room. Application refunds require the stated grounds, timing and review, with registration and transfer-charge deductions; confirm the applicable rule before withdrawing. Tuition withdrawal follows a separate university procedure. Scholarship eligibility and any award must be confirmed separately.
- Intake
- 2027 regular international AFA admission: submit eligibility documents via Study in Korea from 1 December 2026 to 14 January 2027. Applicants who pass eligibility review then apply online from 18 to 20 January 2027, closing at 18:30 KST. Where required, audition video or portfolio submission runs 21–24 January. Practical tests run 26 January–5 February with programme-specific online/offline rules; confirm your individual schedule and current notices. All dates use Korea Standard Time. This future schedule does not guarantee admission or a place.
