Teaching language
Korean language study. Confirm classroom support and assessment arrangements.
Study mode
The guide lists Monday–Thursday, 09:00–13:00, four hours a day. Confirm the timetable for your assigned level.
Duration
Ten weeks per term, with up to 160 hours in the guide; classes are described as approximately 15–25 students. Confirm teaching hours and class arrangements for your term.
Entry requirements
The 2026 language-course guide admits foreign nationals or overseas Koreans with high-school graduation, expected graduation or higher education; confirm the accepted final or provisional evidence. It lists applicants born in 2003 or later, with individual review for earlier birth years. Confirm the current age policy and the academic grade threshold and grading scale: the printed average does not identify its scale. The guide asks for fewer than ten days of absence in prior schooling, with explanations for five days or more, subject to review. Documents include an application, passport, photographs, school certificates and transcripts, family and identity evidence, parents’ income and financial documents. The dated bank reference is at least KRW 8,000,000 in the applicant’s or a parent’s account, with three to six months of transaction statements and a certificate issued within thirty days of application. Transaction history is not evidence of a minimum deposit holding period. Confirm the current amount, holder, documents and country-specific academic authentication and translations. The guide allows initial scans by email followed by originals after admission; confirm the arrival deadline before sending documents. A placement test determines the Korean class, with complete beginners assigned to level 1. Completion requires both an overall score of at least 70 and attendance of at least 70%. Course enrolment does not establish degree admission or visa eligibility.
Course fees
The 2026 guide lists KRW 1,100,000 per ten-week Korean term. Its registration table instead shows initial invoice references of KRW 3,300,000 for thirty weeks or KRW 4,400,000 for forty weeks, plus KRW 1,000,000 for twenty weeks of dormitory accommodation: totals of KRW 4,300,000 or KRW 5,400,000. Confirm which registration period and invoice apply; the single-term price does not establish that a new applicant can register for only one term. The guide requires new Korean-language students to live in the dormitory for the first twenty weeks. Approximate month descriptions differ, and room, floor and actual stay can affect the charge. Do not add the same accommodation charge again to a total that already includes it. Confirm meals, insurance and other inclusions. Refund tables and additional visa, attendance and cancellation conditions differ; obtain the current written terms before paying. Scholarships are conditional and are not guaranteed funding.
Intake
The language-course application windows in the 2026 guide have closed; the latest printed application deadline was 30 September 2026 and original-document arrival was 12 October 2026. Its winter course runs from 30 November 2026 to 12 February 2027. Some other schedule cells contain an inconsistent year or an invalid calendar date. Ask for the next published window, confirmed dates and places.
