- For the closed Spring 2027 international round: A recognised bachelor’s degree representing at least three years of study, or the stated legally recognised equivalent, is required; shorter first degrees require additional qualifying study under the guide’s rules. Unless the guide’s specified nationality or degree-country exemption applies, provide an English test taken within two years of the application deadline: TOEFL iBT 72 (4 for tests from 21 January 2026), IELTS 6.0, OPIc IM3, TEPS 286 or Duolingo 100. A Medium of Instruction certificate is not accepted as a substitute. Submit the online application, statement of purpose, academic records and two independent online recommendations. Confirm the exact certificate timing, expected-graduate exceptions and document authentication requirements with admissions. MIPD applicants must apply to both KDI School and WIPO. Full-time students may not undertake employment during their stay under this guide.
