Entry requirements
For freshman entry, provide grades 9–12 and the required graduation evidence; non-U.S. school applicants may initially submit unofficial records but must provide official records and graduation proof before classes. Transfers need official records from all previous colleges; fewer than 30 transferable semester hours also requires a high-school transcript. Listed English-test options include TOEFL 80 on the 0–120 scale or 4.5 on the new 1–6 scale, IELTS 6.5, TOEIC 695 or Duolingo 110, with scores within two years of applying and paying the application fee. ACT/SAT and specified academic or nationality alternatives have their own rules; English-medium study alone is not a waiver. Confirm the appropriate applicant category, document recognition and any later major-declaration requirements. Plan your campus transition before reaching 90 UAC credits; transition advising holds begin at 72 credits. Asia Campus Entrance, New Horizon and Opportunity scholarships do not cover Salt Lake City study. Separate SLC-bound awards require an application and selection; confirm your award terms and budget without assuming funding.
