- The guide requires a high-school diploma or equivalent/higher education, non-Korean citizenship for the applicant and parents, and no disqualifying grounds for the stated D-2-1 visa route. Admission does not guarantee a visa. Language evidence is selected from TOPIK level 2 or above or a KMCU Korean Test pass, KIIP level 2 or above completion, Sejong Institute level 2B or above, or an accepted English score such as TOEFL iBT 59, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2 or New TEPS 202. Confirm test validity and any school-approved equivalents; English-score acceptance does not establish English-medium teaching. Selection uses an in-depth interview covering academic motivation, adaptability, communication and major-related knowledge, each worth 25%. A score below 50 out of 100 or non-attendance results in disqualification. The guide allows phone/video interviews for overseas applicants; confirm your individual arrangements. Prepare the application, final-education evidence, family/birth records, passport/photo, financial evidence and the checklist for your overseas/domestic status. Follow original, Korean/English translation/notarisation, apostille or consular-authentication and recency rules. The ordinary bank-balance reference is at least KRW 16,000,000; the KRW 8,000,000 exception is only for graduates of KMCU’s own Language Institute. - Historical Fall 2026 full-rate tuition reference: KRW 3,591,000 for the admission semester and KRW 3,353,000 for each remaining semester, before any individual scholarship.
